Wow. I really have to say, I absolutely love Suzy's perspective. She doesn't look at autism, ADHD, or ADD as if it means there is something wrong or something that needs to be fixed. She simply takes the perspective that the kids are communicating differently--- they are not communicating the way the rest of us do but, they are communicating through "feeling." Yes, it is certainly more on the metaphysical level and perhaps difficult for some of us to really understand but-- it really does show up in action.

Getting our kids to eat healthy can sometimes be a chore. Since nutrition is key to good health though, it is important not to revert to french fries and chicken nuggets. Here are some ideas from my call with Dominique Hodgin, the Director of Education from Dr. Sears L.E.A.N.:

The good news is you get a bit more free time -- well kind of between playing car service and homework helper, there is still plenty to do. Here are 5 tricks to avoid extra stress and keep yourself sane:
